Their songs ‘Raet ki tarah’ and ‘Meherbaan’ had created a buzz among the youth.
In their early thirties, Rajat Dipakk (RD) and Manan Bharadwaj hail from Faridabad and Gurgaon. “We got out first break in the industry after 10-15 years of struggle. When we got a call from Mahesh Bhatt asking us to sing songs for one of his movies, our joy had no bounds. We have recorded a few The duo is also reaching out to singers who are unable to record their music due to lack of funds and are providing a platform for new talent.
Speaking about their road to fame, RD said, “I started my singing carrier when I was seven years old. Except my mother, no one in my family supported me. But, I overcame all hurdles to reach here. I hope together we have a long way to go. In 1992-93, as a child artist, I got an opportunity to travel to London and Paris where I sung Bhajan songs.”
Revealing more about their future plans, the duo said they will be working in Mahesh Bhatt movies as singers and composers as well. They will also be singing in Ishq Kabhi Kariyo Na and Climax movies, which will be releasing next year.
