‘Matter of concern’: Union home secretary writes to states over fire incidents in Covid-19 hospitals in Gujarat

“I would like to draw your attention towards occurrence of fire incidents in hospitals/nursing homes in recent past. Non-adherence of fire safety measures by authorities is a matter of concern,” Bhalla said in his letter.

No restrictions on interstate and intrastate movement: MHA order

The home secretary cited Unlock-3 guidelines dated July 29 while asking the state governments and administrations of Union territories not to stop people at borders. This includes movement of persons and goods for land border trade under treaties with neighbouring countries.
