The Supreme Court has refused to extend the stay on a demolition drive near Mathura's Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi. The Railways said the petitioner had no locus standi as he was not affected by the demolition and did not reside in the disputed area. Mathura temple trust files suit in Shahi Eidgah case

The Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust in Agra is challenging a compromise made in the 1960s between a temple body and the Shahi Masjid Eidgah over disputed land.
