Tamil Nadu, Puducherry waterlogged after heavy rain; 13 NDRF teams deployed

A total of 11 teams have been deployed in Tamil Nadu and two in Puducherry. Additional DGP of Puducherry, Anand Mohan said that police are in “full preparedness” and will evacuate people living in the low-lying areas to higher grounds.

27 districts in UP to experience heavy rain under Cyclone Yaas impact: Report

Cyclone Yaas: NDRF says 99 teams committed across 4 states, Andaman and Nicobar

18 teams NDRF teams have been deployed in Odisha alone. Seven teams have been deployed in Balasore, 4 in Bhadrak, 3 in Kendrapada, 2 in Jajpur, one each in Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj. Four teams have also been kept as reserve.

“Due to #CycloneNivar aircraft operations at #AAI #Chennaiairport will remain suspended from 1900hrs of 25.11.2020 (today) to 0700hrs of 26.11.2020 (tmrw).
