Father travels 14 hours to surprise daughter
Taking to Instagram, a woman who goes by the handle @apple.kaivalya shared a video recounting how her father turned up at her doorstep after she told him that she was missing him.
“A night ago, I messaged my father that I'm remembering you. And the next morning, I opened my door, and there he was with a backpack. He had traveled 14 hours and traveled back 14 hours just to spend 8 hours with me, while still managing his busy work calls. He cleaned my dishes, took me out, fed my favorites, and before leaving, he just said, 'Whatever you do, just be happy. I'm always with you.' He didn't come because I asked him to. He came to remind me that I'm never alone,” she shared.
According to the woman, her father undertook the long journey only to spend around eight hours with her before travelling back. Despite managing his work calls during the visit, he also helped her with household chores, took her out and made sure she had her favourite food.

Sharing the emotional clip, the woman wrote in the caption, “I said, “I want to see you.” He came. 14 hours of travel, one day together, countless little things done without being asked. Sometimes parents don’t say “I’m always there for you.” They just show up. And somehow, that’s enough to remind you that you’re never really alone.”
