Conrad Readman, from Colchester, had booked two weeks off work and had tickets for events on every day of the Olympics.

After watching the opening ceremony and many of Team GB's medal-winning moments, the 49-year-old visited the velodrome on Friday to watch Victoria Pendleton and the men's team pursuit. But he was discovered ill in the venue's toilets and was taken to hospital where he died.

Readman had watched up to three sports each day since the start of the Olympics.
