An apex court bench headed by Chief Justice of India SH Kapadia said the commission would place its decision before it. Thereafter, the court will examine the decision and, if required, more powers will be given to the commission for further action.

The commission has been given three months to decide on the complaint by petitioner Ravi Kant.
