IGNOU starts four new courses

The university's School of Vocational Education and Training (SOVET) has already announced admission to its flagship programmes.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has started four new vocational courses beginning from this year's July session.

"We have started four new courses which are M.Sc. in Actuarial Science, Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sales Management, Diploma in BPO-Finance and Accounting and Certificate in Hospital Administrative Assistanceship," an IGNOU official said Sunday.

The university's School of Vocational Education and Training (SOVET) has already announced admission to its flagship programmes.

The M.Sc. in Actuarial Science is a full-time programme and will be offered in IGNOU's main campus only, while the certificate programme in Hospital Administrative Assistanceship will be held in select Apollo hospitals.

"The last date of submission of applications for all the four programmes is May 31. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website and the prospectus of these courses are also available at IGNOU's main office," the official said.
