IIM Kozhikode expands its international exchange programme.

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Plymouth University, United Kingdom, on April 29, 2013. The MoU is meant to facilitate exchange of students and faculty members.

Eighty students from IIMK are going to attend a semester at the partner institutes and around 50 will visit IIMK in the 2013-14 academic year. It will also help academics from both the institutions to collaborate in research projects. IIMK is also planning to accelerate its international activity by collaborating with leading business schools all over the world. Nandakumar M K, chairperson of international exchange programme of IIMK, said, “The students participating in the exchange programme will gain international exposure and will get an opportunity to understand business practices in the host country. They will also develop a good understanding of the cross-cultural issues in management.”
