CCTVs in national park

In order to provide staff with better infrastructure, closed-circuit cameras would be set up across Sanjay Gandhi National Park, a senior forest official said today.

In order to provide staff with better infrastructure, closed-circuit cameras would be set up across Sanjay Gandhi National Park, a senior forest official said on Wednesday.

“It is humanly impossible to keep a constant vigil on all parts of the park with the staff available. The CCTVs will allow better monitoring,” said the official. The cameras will be set up mainly in areas accessible to visitors and also animal enclosures.
