95-year-old Delhi woman held captive by daughter-in-law rescued

The move came after the DCW helpline received a call from a person complaining that his 95-year-old mother was being held captive and tortured by his wife and in-laws. The complainant also informed that his mother is completely bedridden.

Police said they suspect that the woman might have been killed at least a week ago and her body dumped in an open field later. Investigators said that they have not ruled out sexual assault and all efforts were being made to identify the body.
