10 more contacts of fliers from UK test positive for Covid-19

As of Monday evening, 31 patients were admitted in the special ward at Lok Nayak hospital of whom 20 are UK-returned Covid-19 patients and 11 are their contacts who tested positive.

No death reported on Monday at Delhi’s biggest Covid hospital, Lok Nayak

The hospital has been recording a couple of deaths daily since it started treating Covid-19 patients in March. The number of deaths had shot up to 10 to 15 a day in June when Delhi had seen a surge in the number of cases.

Lok Nayak hospital to house Delhi’s second plasma bank

Lok Nayak hospital has already set up an apheresis machine, which is used to separate the blood components. The collection of plasma from recovered Covid-19 patients will start this week, the hospital said.

4 furnaces down, this Delhi crematorium sends bodies back to hospital

Lok Nayak hospital docs want separate block for Covid-19 treatment

Till now, people who are suspected Covid-19 patients are first triaged (order and site of treatment is decided) on the ground floor of the hospital’s emergency building and then moved to the Covid-19 isolation ward on the sixth floor of the same building.
