Govt brought back 1,200 Indians from war-torn Israel: Union minister

The first flight took off from the Ben Gurion airport in Israel on Thursday evening and reached New Delhi on Friday morning.

India has so far brought back around 1,000 to 1,200 of the 20,000 Indians in Israel and the government has mapped those still in the Middle East country, said minister V Muraleedharan (centre) at a review meeting in Pune. (HT)
