Bihar Board Result 2026

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will announce the Class 12 or Intermediate examination results for 2026. The results will be declared by Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar.

The Bihar board will declare the Class 12 results for all three streams — Science, Arts and Commerce — together. The board is expected to hold a press conference to formally announce the results. During the briefing, officials will also share details such as the names of toppers, number of students who appeared and passed, overall pass percentage and gender-wise performance.

After the press conference concludes, the Bihar Board 12th results will be made available online on the official websites interresult2026.com and interbiharboard.com.

Apart from the official portals, the Hindustan Times Education page will also host the BSEB Class 12 results. Students can pre-register through the HT portal to receive updates when the results are announced. Candidates who pre-register will get notifications on their mobile phones and email addresses as soon as the results are declared. Once the results are announced, the same link can be used to check and download the Bihar Board Inter scorecards.

How to check BSEB Bihar Board 12th result
Students can check the BSEB Class 12 result 2026 by visiting the official Bihar board websites or the Hindustan Times Education portal. After opening the result page, candidates need to enter the required login details and submit the information. The scorecard will appear on the screen, which students can download and keep for future reference.

The Bihar Board Class 12 examinations 2026 were conducted between February 2 and February 13. The exams were held in two shifts, with the first shift conducted from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Students were also given a 15-minute cool-off period, from 9:30 am to 9:45 am in the first shift and from 2 pm to 2:15 pm in the second shift.

In 2025, the Bihar Board Class 12 results were announced on March 25, while the examinations were conducted from February 1 to February 15. In 2024, the BSEB declared the Inter results on March 23, after conducting the examinations from February 1 to February 12.

The BSEB Class 12 scorecard contains several important details related to the candidate and examination results. These include the student’s name, parents’ names, school name, roll number and registration number. The scorecard also includes the stream name, subject names, marks obtained in each subject, total marks, division and pass or fail status, along with other relevant information.

Who topped the Bihar Board Inter exam last year
In the Commerce stream, the toppers included Raushani Kumari who secured Rank 1, followed by Antra Khushi at Rank 2. Shrishti Kumari and Nishant Raj secured Rank 3, while Nidhi Sharma and Aditi Sonkar were placed at Rank 4. Anshu Kumari secured Rank 5.

In the Arts stream, Ankita Kumari and Shakib Shah jointly secured Rank 1. Anushka Kumari and Rokaiya Fatma secured Rank 2. Arti Kumari, Saniya Kumari and Ankit Kumar secured Rank 3. Anshu Rani was placed at Rank 4, while Chandramani Lal, Rishu Kumar, Sanjana Kumari, Tanu Kumari and Archana Mishra secured Rank 5.

In the Science stream, Priya Jaiswal secured Rank 1, followed by Akash Kumar at Rank 2 and Ravi Kumar at Rank 3. Anupriya and Prashant Kumar secured Rank 4, while Atul Kumar Maurya, Ankit Kumar and Varsha Rani secured Rank 5.

The pass percentage in the Arts stream last year stood at 82.75 per cent, while the Commerce stream recorded a pass percentage of 94.77 per cent. The Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 89.66 per cent, and the Vocational stream recorded 90.7 per cent.
