Centre withdraws nearly 10,000 security personnel from Jammu and Kashmir

On Wednesday, 40 companies of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and 20 each of the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) were withdrawn by the ministry of home affairs (MHA) and were asked to report back to their respective locations.

CISF readies for Metro reopening, no word on when services will resume

Delhi Metro services have remained suspended since March 22, when the Janta curfew was observed. While other modes of public transport have been allowed, with restrictions, as part of the gradual easing of lockdown norms, the Metro, which catered to nearly 2.4 million passengers daily pre-pandemic, has remained suspended.
Apart from securing the stations, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) also frisks the passengers and patrols areas near stations in sensitive places.

The Central Industrial Security Force has also stated that after thermal screening, which will be conducted at all entry gates, if any entrant is found with abnormal temperatures or symptoms of cold, cough or flu, they he or she will be denied entry in the metro train.
