2 killed after train hits their bike in Sirsa

As the Haryana police had stocked up barricades on the main roads, people are using shorter routes to come to Sirsa. Two people were coming towards Sirsa when their bike was hit by a train when they tried to cross the railway tracks near the Ghaggar river bridge.

6 die as their car rams into tree in Dabwali

The car occupants were coming from Ganganagar in Rajasthan and were going to Hisar to attend the last rites of their kin. The deceased have been identified as Banwari Lal, his wife Darshan Devi, their relatives — Gudda Devi, Krishan Lal and his wife Chander Kala and car driver Subhash, who was a close friend of Banwari Lal.

Couple dies as car plunges into canal in Sirsa’s Dabwali

Haryana set to miss its wheat procurement target this year

As per information, government agencies in Haryana had earlier predicted to procure 85 lakh MT of wheat but later after consultation with states, the Food Corporation of India (FCI) estimated that Haryana’s wheat procurement target for this season is set to be 75 lakh MT.

Derbassi organ transplant racket: Anomalies found in at least a dozen transplants performed in 2 years

A member of the special investigation team (SIT), constituted to probe the organ transplant racket at Indus International Hospital in Derabassi, has revealed that the hospital’s transplant coordinator Abhishek, who is also the prime accused in the case, had facilitated all these surgeries.
