State board changes practical exam format for SSC, HSC exams

According to the circular issued on the website by Anuradha Oak, secretary of the state board, teachers and principals of schools and junior colleges have to fill marks for the examinations to be held in February-March 2024 online

State board releases timetable for Class 10, Class 12

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will conduct Class 10 and 12 exams from February 21 to March 26. Detailed schedules will be available on the official website from November 2. Students should not rely on timetables from other sources.

HC directs state Board to release disbarred teen’s Class 12 marksheet

The Bombay high court has ordered the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to release the marksheet of an engineering aspirant from Nashik. The board had withheld the Class 12 results of Krish Chordiya after stating that he was not eligible to be admitted to the science stream as he did not opt for science in Class 10. The court criticised the board and Gargi Junior College for not informing Chordiya of his ineligibility earlier and said that students should not be penalised for the faults of educational institutions.

Maha SSC results: Girls outshine boys, 3% drop in overall performance

Over 93% students cleared the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or class 10 examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). The overall pass percentage in the state stood at 93.83%, a drop of 3.11% from last year's result. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 95.87% as against 92.05% by boys. The exams were conducted without any relaxation due to the Covid pandemic, resulting in a dip in the pass percentage. Supplementary exams for class 10 students will be held in July-August.

SSC results to be declared today at 1 pm in Maharashtra

91.25% students clear HSC exam in Maharashtra, pass percentage dips by 2.97%

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced that the Class 12 exam results for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) showed an overall pass percentage of 91.25%. The exams were held with 100% syllabus this year, with 7,696 students scoring above 90%, and at least 583,271 students scoring between 45% and 60%. Girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 93.73% compared to 89.14%. The highest pass percentage was in the Konkan division with 96.01%, followed by Pune division with 93.34%, and the lowest percentage was in Mumbai division with 88.13%.
